Mark McDorman
After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Cal State University, Fullerton, Mark began his career with the County at Animal Care Services as a Services Representative. After promoting up through the Department from Animal Control Officer to Sergeant to Lieutenant to Chief and then Director, Mark left Animal Care after 17 years to join the Health Care Agency Financial/Administrative Services Contracts Section as a Contract Administrator. In 2001, Mark then joined HCA’s Human Resources as an Employee Relations Analyst supporting the Agency’s Correctional Health Services Division (Formerly known as MIHS). After two years, Mark moved over and joined CMS an Administrative Manager II. Mark’s role at CHS included managing Juvenile Health Services (JHS provides medical and dental care to the minors in the Probation institutions and Orangewood Children and Family Center). In 2007, Mark became a Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP). Mark served as OCMA President for 4 years and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2007. Mark recently retired from the County after 30+ years and is pleased and honored to serve as OCMA’s Executive Director.
